FAIR Girls Hosts “Be The Light, Be The Change” Virtual Fundraiser and Live Auction

FAIR Girls is excited to host its third annual fundraiser and live auction on June 3rd from 7-8 PM Eastern. The virtual event will feature local and national leaders, celebrity speakers, survivor testimonials, and appealing auction items to bid on. All event proceeds go directly towards providing opportunities and holistic care for female-identifying survivors and advance FAIR Girls’ mission to eradicate human trafficking one life at a time.

The “Be The Light, Be the Change” event will go live at www.FAIRGirls.org/BeTheLight and admission is free for everyone with the completion of a quick registration form. Pre-registration is also required in order to place auction bids; all registration and item donation forms are located on the event webpage.

FAIR Girls began hosting an online silent auction on May 27th, which will culminate with the live auction segment on June 3rd. The auction will host a variety of exciting experiences and items for supporters to bid on—from VIP tickets to the Capitol Wheel at National Harbor to iconic robes from the Four Seasons Hotels.

FAIR Girls was founded in 2003 with the goal of providing long-term therapeutic interventions and safe housing for female-identifying survivors of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation. Since then, the organization has served well over 1,300 survivors. In addition to operating the Vida Home, the first safe and empowering transitional home for survivors of human trafficking in Washington, D.C., FAIR Girls is highly invested in personalized case management, prevention education and training, community outreach, and policy advocacy.
